NASA’s own watchdog: Agency misled on global warming

“NASA’s press office “marginalized or mischaracterized” studies on global warming between 2004 and 2006, the agency’s own internal watchdog concluded.

In a report released Monday, NASA’s inspector general office called it “inappropriate political interference” by political appointees in the press office.” – (Newsvine)

Climategate: the final nail in the coffin of ‘Anthropogenic Global Warming’?

“The conspiracy behind the Anthropogenic Global Warming myth (aka AGW; aka ManBearPig) has been suddenly, brutally and quite deliciously exposed after a hacker broke into the computers at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (aka Hadley CRU) and released 61 megabites of confidential files onto the internet.

When you read some of those files – including 1079 emails and 72 documents – you realise just why the boffins at Hadley CRU might have preferred to keep them confidential. As Andrew Bolt puts it, this scandal could well be “the greatest in modern science”. These alleged emails – supposedly exchanged by some of the most prominent scientists pushing AGW theory – suggest: Conspiracy, collusion in exaggerating warming data, possibly illegal destruction of embarrassing information, organised resistance to disclosure, manipulation of data, private admissions of flaws in their public claims and much more.” – (UK Telegraph Blogs)

“Climate change sceptics who have studied the emails allege that they provide ’smoking gun’ evidence that some of the climatologists colluded in manipulating data to support the widely held view that climate change is real and is being largely caused by the actions of mankind.” – (Guardian)

When it comes to environmental policy, rather than rushing to advocate “sustainability” we should begin with the question, “Cui bono?” Al Gore has been positioning himself to make insane profits for years. This is the same coward who folded to Bush and remained silent while the Supreme Court enthroned its favored son. Can he be trusted?

The people who have been trying to sell you “global warming” don’t have your best interests in mind. They’re interested in consolidating power. If Al Gore invested a fraction of his time cheerleading for solar energy, ocean waves, bio-cells, geothermal energy, etc, we’d be living in a very, very different world. But Al Gore and the Torchbearers of Oligarchy recognize great danger in these technologies, so they’re doing everything they can to manufacture products that maintain dependence on centralized authority.

I would suggest Al Gore cannot be trusted. Likewise, I would suggest that those politicians who enthusiastically support Gore’s position cannot be trusted. They want to profit from our enslavement. In what universe is that trust-building behaviour? Furthermore, I would suggest a thorough consideration of cui bono? illuminates dubious allegiances among institutions and agencies that have fashioned themselves as ‘Champions of the Earth’. They cannot be trusted as advocates of truth.

So is polar ice really not melting? Are sea levels really not rising?
  • Polar ice has been thawing and refreezing for a lot longer than humans have been in the picture. ;)

"Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh released a report last week that says there is no conclusive evidence that climate change has caused the melting of the Himalayan glaciers. The report says that not all of the glaciers are receding at alarming rates and that a few are even advancing." - (Washington Post)

"Crichtdon graduated Harvard Medical School, was a published scientist, and was a fellow at the Jonas Salk Institute before becoming a Hollywood writer/producer, so it's not really a fair fight. Al Gore and the entire accepted dogma of man-made global warming (AGW) is obliterated." - (Daily Bail)

Sea levels are set to fall over millions of years, making the current rise blamed on climate change a brief interruption of an ancient geological trend, scientists said on Thursday.

They said oceans were getting deeper and sea levels had fallen by about 170 meters (560 ft) since the Cretaceous period 80 million years ago when dinosaurs lived. Previously, the little-understood fall had been estimated at 40 to 250 meters.

"The ocean floor has got on average older and gone down and so the sea level has also fallen," said Bernhard Steinberger at the Geological Survey of Norway, one of five authors of a report in the journal Science.

"The trend will continue," he told Reuters. - (Reuters)

"Temperatures in Antarctica during warm periods between ice ages soared to up to 6C warmer than the present day, a study has shown." - (Telegraph)

Yes indeed. I remember when I was still in school and we all had to watch An Inconvenient Truth which had been sent out to schools on free DVDs. It wasn't until I started studying all this that the horrorific deceit of it all really got to me.
